Missy Zubricky Wins Virtual World Grooming Award
Dog Groomer Melissa Zubricky has again been acknowledged for her industry passion and expertise. She received national recognition in the 2021 Spring Virtual World Grooming Competition. Missy won the dog grooming award in the Live Dog Pure Breed Competition.
The event was held by the International Judges Association in March 2021. The IJA was founded in 1998, and promotes training and educational programs to the pet grooming industry.
Captures 3rd Place In Pure Breed Grooming Category
Owner of Grooming By Missy in Hinckley, the veteran grooming professional took a third place finish in the Multitude Coat Type Class. The division recognizes groomers not only for their style and creativity, but also their knowledge of canine anatomy and physiology.
To compete in the event, Melissa worked with a currently client – “Tully”, a pure-breed Sheltie from Barberton, Ohio.
Missy was the only local professional dog groomer placing in the competition. Listed with Missy in her category were Krista Creekpaum of Greensburg, PA, and Denise Mahan of Pittsburgh.
